Commission - Underwater ballet.

A commission for Salcinro.

This was most definitely the most challenging, but the most rewarding commission I have done so far in my life! So the job was to create a girl made of coral, and have her be in a detailed underwater scenery surrounded by fish.

My first suggestion to the commissioner was that instead of having her just stand there, I wanted her to be dancing ballet, which he approved of. Original plan had jellyfish around her.

Moving forward I started to think about my current style and realized that I just don't get to challenge myself anymore with all the commissions and comic work I do nowadays, so I decided to kick it up a notch and asked the commissioner if he was ok with me trying something new, and showed him the first draft.

Reason why this was much more challenging was due to the strong perspective, but he approved it and said that he is more than happy to let me improve my skill set!
